TBCASoft’s latest blog is published on IBM’s Client Success website.
Ling Wu, Co-Chairman of the CBSG Consortium and CEO & Founder of TBCASoft shares his point of view on a global transformation and a global game-changing opportunity for mobile service operators.
Mobile/contactless payments are displacing card transactions (further accelerated by COVID). Subsequently, the metric of being banked or unbanked will also be displaced. The superseding metric will be mobile penetration, because the next meaningful gains in financial inclusion and services will come through mobile phones.
Carriers can be ideally positioned to have a greater share of wallet, especially the mobile wallet by joining the CBSG Consortium and becoming part of the HIVEX Network. See the blog for details.

IBM and TBCASoft published a joint white paper. COVID-19 is accelerating consumer preference for contactless payments. Mobile Service Providers could be ideally positioned -- with the right partners. Service Providers should launch their contactless payment service enabled by TBCASoft's Cross Carrier Payment System, and join the CBSG Consortium that greatly expands the user and merchant base for their payment service -- it accelerates the network effect to a global scale.

Carrier Blockchain Study Group Consortium
The CBSG Consortium is the leading telecom blockchain consortium. It was launched in September 2017 to enable the joint development of innovative blockchain platforms designed specifically for telecom carriers. It is led by U.S.-based blockchain technology company TBCASoft, and Japan-based SoftBank Corp., with U.S.-based Sprint Corporation, and Taiwan-based Far EasTone Telecommunications Co. as initial founding members. CBSG aims to provide telecom members and their customers with innovative services such as secure mobile transactions, optimized transaction records and clearing, ID and authentication, IoT applications and other services using TBCASoft's Cross-Carrier Blockchain Network.
Cross-Carrier Payment System (CCPS)
Designed and developed by TBCASoft, CCPS is the first application to be launched by the CBSG Consortium. CCPS provides interoperability across different OTT payment networks, making established networks of merchants instantly available to telecom carrier subscribers. In other words, traveling mobile subscribers can use their home mobile payment app with foreign CCPS merchants while abroad. CCPS also helps optimize transaction clearing between carriers.
Globally Identifiable Credentials
TBCASoft's Cross-Carrier Identification System (CCIS) authenticates users without having to reveal personally identifiable information in the blockchain.
TBCASoft does NOT offer/sell any investment packages publicly.
